Sally Girvan

Sally has a BSc Honours degree from Adelaide Uni and postgraduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics from Sydney University. She has worked in many fields of Dietetics over her almost 30 year career, including clinical, community, private practise and sports nutrition. Sally’s paediatric dietetics experience includes 5 years at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne and more recently 13 years in Early Intervention (EI). Working in EI Sally sees clients with a wide range of disabilities and feeding issues including ASD, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome etc. Sally has presented at many conferences for parents and therapists on “Feeding Children with Disabilities” and was on the panel of experts for Autism Victoria (AMAZE). Sally has a special interest in children with limited diets and is trained in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) program to treat extreme fussy eating.
